Heavy Metals Rock: See how easy it is to get rock star results with suspension mass cytometry and Imaging Mass Cytometry

Mass cytometry can be viewed as a form of flow cytometry that utilizes metal-tagged antibodies rather than fluorescently labeled ones to assess protein markers in either single cell suspensions (suspension mass cytometry) or tissue sections (Imaging Mass Cytometry™). In suspension mass cytometry, analysis of 40-plus parameters is routinely performed, enabling more comprehensive phenotypic and functional characterization of cells with single-cell resolution. Imaging Mass Cytometry has the added benefit of uncovering spatial biology to further help understand how cells interact with one another within the tissue microenvironment.

In this workshop we will provide a practical overview of how to plan and carry out high-parameter suspension cytometry and high-plex Imaging Mass Cytometry experiments. Key principles of panel design and strategic workflows will be discussed.
