ASHG 2022

The one assay you can’t live without will premiere at ASHG

Standard BioTools™ is thrilled to be part of the ASHG meeting. ASHG’s mission is to advance human genetics and genomics in science, health and society through excellence in research, education and advocacy, and this year, we’re especially excited to introduce everyone to our newest high-capacity genomics instrument.

How do you measure productivity? In pharmacogenomics, the number of samples you can complete in a single run can make a big difference on your time to results and seriously impact a decision on which genomic variants might be associated with drug metabolism in different individuals.

What if you could increase your samples per run and assess single-nucleotide polymorphisms and copy number variations simultaneously, on a single microfluidic chip?

You’re invited to our workshop at the American Society of Human Genetics’ 2022 meeting on Thursday, October 27, from 7:00–8:00 am in Room 303, when Director of Product Management Bill Hunt will present on how the Advanta™ Pharmacogenomics Assay provides efficient and cost-effective solutions for the detection and identification of targeted genomic variants associated with differential drug metabolism.

Learn more about how the Advanta PGx Assay allows you to process SNPs and CNVs from up to 96 samples in a single workflow using nucleic acid derived from buccal swabs prepared with an extraction or extraction-free method. You can achieve results in approximately 4 hours with actionable content that can be customized to meet your needs. When combined, the assay, our new X9™ Real-Time PCR System and our revolutionary integrated fluidic circuits (IFCs) result in a highly automated PGx genotyping workflow that saves time and minimizes reagent consumption.

We’ll share more about you can achieve the content coverage, performance and flexibility you need through:

  • A validated core panel of 74 gene targets derived from professional guidelines
  • Multiple concurrent independent reactions that mitigate the risk of assay-assay interactions
  • Nanoliter-scale reactions that minimize reagent and sample consumption by 100x

ASHG’s mission is to advance human genetics and genomics in science, health and society through excellence in research, education and advocacy, and this year’s meeting presents an unparalleled opportunity to connect with leading scientists from around the world to discuss human genetics and genomics research. We’re especially excited to introduce everyone to our newest high-capacity genomics instrument, X9. Visit us at Booth 1612 to ask about how you can ensure cost-effective, comprehensive sample profiling with minimal operator contribution.

We’re looking forward to seeing you in Los Angeles!
