Find out why heavy metals rock at the Southern California Flow Cytometry Association’s 10th Annual SoCal Flow Summit, held April 25–26 at the Beckman Center at the University of California, Irvine, in California. The conference brings together research, clinical and biomedical scientists from Los Angeles, Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County, San Diego and Imperial counties.

On April 25 at 11:25 am, Connie Inlay, PhD, Senior Field Applications Specialist, will be holding a workshop on how to achieve rock star results with suspension mass cytometry and Imaging Mass Cytometry™. Her presentation will provide a practical overview of how to plan and carry out high-parameter suspension cytometry and high-plex Imaging Mass Cytometry experiments.

Be sure to also check out keynote speaker Akil Merchant, MD. Merchant, a practicing hematologist and oncologist at the University of Southern California’s Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, has used Imaging Mass Cytometry to assess circulating tumor cells in the blood and analyze immune cells within the tumor microenvironment.
